The menu items in this program meet  predetermined nutrition criteria that support these principles:

 

Nutrition Standards Meals
  • Less than 600 calories

  • Less than 30% calories from fat

  • No more than 3 grams saturated fat

  • Zero trans-fat

  • Less than 100 mg cholesterol

  • Less than 1000 mg sodium

  • At least 3 grams of fiber

 

Appetizers/ Desserts/ Snacks
  • Less than 200 calories

  • Less than 30% calories from fat

  • No more than 1 gram saturated fat

  • Zero trans-fat

  • Less than 50 mg cholesterol

  • Less than 500 mg sodium

  • At least 1 gram of fiber
